This genuine replacement part is a user interface board for dryers. The user interface board is the circuit board that responds to the buttons located on the control panel allowing the user to adjust the dryer settings. If the dryer is no longer responding when buttons are being pressed then it might be time to replace the user interface board. Luckily this is a relatively easy repair.To replace the interface board begin by turning off the power to the dryer. Once the power has been shut off move the dryer away from the wall to gain access to the upper back panel. Remove the panel and locate the interface board. Snap it out of its brackets and remove the wire harness attached to the board. Reinsert the wire connector to the new interface and snap the new board assembly back to its original place.This OEM replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand Dryers.
