This part is a Frigidaire touch control panel assembly designed for installation in wall oven models. Included in this listing is the touch panel with oven controls and the main control board. These components work in unison to allow a user to control the main functions of the oven. Without this part, a user cannot toggle the oven's main functions. Signs of a faulty touch panel and control board include buttons becoming unresponsive or main functions not operating properly. The backlight on the touch panel may also fail. Certain oven models will display an error message when the control board or other vital oven components need to be addressed.To install this part, slide the oven out from the wall about four to five inches. On the outer perimeter of the oven, some screws fasten the cosmetic faceplate. Remove these screws and open the oven door. Behind the touch screen are screws that support the control board. Remove these screws and move them to the very top of the oven. Above the touch panel are screws that anchor the control panel in place. Remove these and unplug the control panel from the ribbon or wire harness. Repeat these instructions in reverse and test the oven's functions before sliding back into the wall.This product is compatible with Frigidaire, Gibson, and Electrolux brand ovens.
