This genuine OEM part is an control board for Whirlpool dishwashers. The control board is the main circuit board that controls the dishwasher's main functions. If the dishwasher is no longer turning on or is not draining properly, it might be time for a new control board. Lift the control panel up and disconnect the wire touchpad harness from the control board. Then use a flathead screwdriver to release the locking tab and slide the control board housing to the left to detach. Remove the wire covers. Once removed, take note of the orientation of the wire connectors and disconnect them from the old board. Install the new control board by reconnecting the wire connectors to the appropriate terminals. Align the wire covers and pop them into place. Insert the control board housing tabs into the slots of the mounting bracket and slide the housing to the right to secure.
