This genuine Midwest Engine fuel line controls the flow of fuel into the carburetor, where it combines with the airflow through a series of valves in order to ignite and start the engine. The fuel line of a small engine outdoor appliance might have to be replaced if there is damage that hampers the ability of the fuel line to connect to the carburetor and provide it with the gas it has to combine with air in the proper ratio.
