An in-line fuel filter prevents contaminants from entering the carburetor and engine. In any engine, if the in-line fuel filter becomes clogged for whatever reason, the fuel cannot flow freely to the carburetor. This can prevent the engine from starting or may shut off the engine during operation when the fuel supply is interrupted. Without any gas, the engine cannot run. Any number of things can cause the filter to become clogged. Examples of typical clogging culprits are lawn clippings, mulch, stones or rocks, or contaminants from poor-grade fuel. If your engine stops or won’t start up, remove the old in-line fuel filter, and replace it with the new one. If this does not fix your problem, the carburetor may need cleaning or replacement due to damage from the contaminants, as well. The outside material of this fuel filter is plastic, while the inside material is comprised of a filter component interior. This in-line fuel filter is manufactured by Briggs & Stratton. It is compatible with engines on lawnmowers, lawn tractors, snowblowers, and generators manufactured by Briggs & Stratton, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Murray, MTD, Simplicity, Snapper, Toro, and Troy-Bilt. It is for engines that are supplied fuel by way of a fuel pump. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold separately as a replacement.

This is an inline fuel filter and is an essential part of a fuel system. This part can be found inside the fuel tank or fitted into the fuel line. The fuel filter is responsible for straining particles like water and debris in the fuel so that they won't reach and clog the combustion chamber and eventually reduce the engine's performance. Annoying sputters when starting equipment and uneven idling are incidents that may be related to a clogged fuel filter. To remove a fuel filter, first cut off the fuel supply and then slide the fuel clamps away to remove the filter. Remember to work in a well-ventilated area, with no open flame or fire source, when installing this component. This part works with lawn mowers, snowblowers, tillers, generators, wood chippers, and others with small engines. It is compatible with brands such as Briggs & Stratton, Craftsman, Toro, Cub Cadet, Murray, Lawn Boy, Snapper, and Simplicity. This is a manufacturer-supplied OEM replacement part and comes as an individual component.

Flange screws have a flange located near the top of the screw, which helps to distribute the connection force over a larger area to reduce potential damage to the machine. It also allows the screws to be used in oversized or irregular holes, and it helps to ensure they stay in place. This flange screw also has a hex top. Screws can last for a long time. However, they may become corroded or worn over time and need to be replaced. They could also become lost and need a replacement. Without all of the screws in the proper places in a machine, it could vibrate too much, which could render it less effective or unsafe to use. The flange screw is a genuine OEM part that can be used with many types of machines including lawn mowers, snowblowers, tillers, pressure washers, leaf blowers, generators, wood chippers, and other small engines. The screws are compatible with Briggs & Stratton, Craftsman, Toro, Cub Cadet, Murray, Lawn-Boy, Snapper, Simplicity, and MTD.

The fuel cut-off valve is used as an external mechanism to stop the flow of gasoline from the fuel assembly to the engine to conserve fuel and maintain safe operation. If your device did not come with a cut-off valve, this is an easy install to give more control over the engine’s operation. When installing a fuel cut-off valve in your small gasoline engine, the first thing to note is the little arrow on the side of the valve. This indicates the direction that fuel will be flowing from the tank to the motor. Empty the fuel tank before proceeding with the repair. Remove the fuel line from the tank and cut the hose in two. Install properly sized hose clamps on either side of the cut and force the two ends of the valve into the severed line. Reattach the fuel lines and fill the tank. This fuel cut-off valve is compatible with a variety of gasoline-driven tools, including lawnmowers, generators, snowblowers, and chippers. Brands that use this OEM replacement part include Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton, Snapper, Simplicity, Toro, and Cub Cadet. This OEM part is sold individually.
