This replacement DP NO/NC switch is a genuine OEM part for a riding lawn mower engine. This switch provides an electrical current to subsequent wires while maintaining a self- contained breaker. The terms NO and NC stand for “normally open” and “normally closed”. As this switch features both terms, it means that this switch can be flipped to either setting by the operator; in this case, by engaging the brake pedal.
