This Rotary Start Switch is an OEM replacement part for GE dryers It is responsible for initiating the dryer's operation when the user turns the knob to the desired cycle and presses the start button. The rotary start switch is typically located on the control panel of the dryer, where the user interacts with the various settings and functions.
The GE dryer rotary start switch can also be used on Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore/Sears appliances.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

  • The dryer not starting or responding when the start button is pressed
