To start, disconnect the power and gas from the unit before replacing the screw on the bracket. Make certain the stove burners are not hot. Remove the burner grates, burner caps, and control knobs. Lift the range top cover. Locate the mounting bracket on the wall unit. If the screw is in the bracket but has rusted, use a screwdriver to remove the missing screw.
