The Electrolux ICON Pure Advantage Refrigerator Water Filter is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It is designed to filter and purify the water that dispenses from the refrigerator, ensuring clean and fresh-tasting water and ice. The coconut shell carbon filter should be replaced every 6 months or 400 gallons for optimal performance. Symptoms of a bad water filter include:

• Poor-tasting or cloudy water
• Ice cubes with an unusual taste or odor
• The filter warning light on the refrigerator indicating a replacement is needed
