This is an authentic OEM replacement spark plug for a snowblower engine. Nearly all combustion engines use a spark plug to ignite a small amount of fuel and jump start the ignition. For this to work, the spark plug receives a high-voltage charge from the ignition module which it then translates into a short and quick jolt of electricity. Spark plugs often fail for one of two reasons; either they become coated in exhaust fumes and degrade, or they receive too high of a charge from the ignition module and fry. When a spark plug goes out the ignition will not start. For this reason, it is usually one of the first parts to check. Repairing a spark plug is a quick and easy job and should only require a plug or socket wrench. This replacement spark plug is a high-quality part sourced from its original manufacturer.
