This carburetor is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on weed trimmers. The carburetor is part of the engine assembly and is critical in engine performance. The carburetor is responsible for providing and maintaining the fuel-to-air mixture for proper engine performance. Remove the spark plug from the weedeater. Empty any fuel in the gas tank into a clean receptacle. Disconnect the fuel line. Remove the bolts holding the primer bulb in place. Remove the air filter. Remove the carburetor from the side of the engine and disconnect the throttle cable from the carburetor. Install the new carburetor and reverse the process to reassemble the weed trimmer.This carburetor is made of high-quality metals and is sold as an individual unit.
