This part is a replacement valve spring. This is a genuine OEM part made by MTD and has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part can be used to replace a defective or broken valve spring in a variety of snow blower models. Valve springs are essential to the proper functionality of the snow blower, as they enable different components to move seamlessly. Springs are subject to wear and tear, which may include stretching, corroding, or snapping. If they are rendered ineffective, they will need to be replaced with a genuine OEM part. When working on or near an engine, it's important to ensure that the equipment is powered off and completely cool before beginning any repairs. For more accurate information on how and where to place this valve spring, the appropriate owner's manual and equipment diagrams should be referred to. As an authentic replacement part, this valve spring is suitable for use on line trimmers manufactured by MTD, Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, and other brands. Please note that this is a genuine part made of high-quality, durable metal and is sold individually.

The flywheel key keeps the engine flywheel and the crankshaft connected. In the event that the engine is forced to a sudden stop, the flywheel key could be sheared off, making it impossible for the engine to start back up again. Replacing the flywheel key is a part of routine maintenance for many modern engines, so it should be inspected and replaced as needed. This sturdy metal flywheel key is easy to install, but remember to choose the right torque setting when doing the replacement. Always disengage the spark plug and wear gloves when replacing engine parts. This genuine flywheel key is designed to be used in a number of lawn and garden equipment products from MTD, Troy-Bilt, Yard Machines, Cub Cadet, Yard-Man, Husky, and Bolens. It can be used as a replacement for many models of snowblowers, lawnmowers, and log splitters. Sold individually.
This is an oil filter designed to fit a variety of small, gasoline-powered motors used primarily on lawn equipment. This genuine OEM replacement filter removes contaminants that otherwise would wear down the internal working parts of the engine. While the filter works very well, it should be replaced annually as a part of regular maintenance. Depending on use, the filter may need to be replaced more often. When replacing the oil filter, the crankcase oil must be drained and safely discarded as well. To remove oil from the gasoline engine, start the engine and let it run for a couple of minutes. This circulates the oil and heats the internal engine parts so oil is better able to drain. Next, remove the drain plug located on the bottom of the oil pan and collect the oil. Remember to dispose of the oil safely where it cannot contaminate streams or aquifers. Once the oil has been removed, remove the old filter and discard it properly. The new filter should only be hand-tightened in place as using a wrench may cause the filter gasket to seal to the engine block. This filter will fit Yard Machine mower engines and MTD equipment.
