The Convection Fan Motor Kit is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire ovens. This kit includes the motor responsible for driving the convection fan, which circulates hot air within the oven cavity to ensure even cooking and consistent temperatures during convection baking or roasting.
Over time, causes of a bad convection fan motor can include electrical wear, overheating due to heavy use, or damage from grease or debris buildup. Additionally, worn-out bearings in the motor can impair its performance.
Symptoms of a bad convection fan motor include:
- The fan not spinning or operating inconsistently
- Uneven cooking results in convection mode
- Strange noises such as rattling or grinding during operation
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
Note: Convection fan motor 5304467898 replaces earlier fan motors with a cooling blade. The fan motor doesn't include the cooling blade as it is no longer required.
