A spark plug is a component within a combustion engine system that ignites the fuel/air mixture and generates a tiny explosion that is what makes power inside the engine. When the generator fails to fire and no power is generated, it is time to replace the spark plug. While an engine may start when it has bad spark plugs, it will often accelerate slowly, use fuel inefficiently, or misfire, too.
