The chute discharge is an essential part of the mowing deck on most riding lawn mowers. The discharge chute typically connects on the side of the mower deck. The chute prevents grass, weeds, and other green matter from building up inside the mowing blades. The chute allows the grass to expel from the machine without disturbance. The chute discharge also makes riding lawn mowers safer, preventing rocks or debris from flinging into neighboring property or people. When the chute discharge is connected to a bag, it will collect grass clippings and debris.
