A gauge wheel is broken if it doesn't touch the ground and doesn't wholly rotate. Replacing the gauge wheel is a straightforward procedure. First, turn off the tractor and take the key out. Use a socket and wrench to loosen the gauge wheel's bolt. Then, remove the old wheel. Insert the bolt and washer into the hole of the gauge wheel replacement.
