Gene M Okatie , SC March 03, 2017 Appliance: Model THERMADOR PBR364GDZS Only one loop of the heating element/broiler glowed red hot! After viewing the video several times, I put on my work clothes and began. Not a difficult job until i could not pull the original element and wires through the back wall. YES, the wires came off and remained behind the wall - UGH! Now the real job was miserable. I had to pull the large range out from the wall. It was very tight between the granite counters. Also, the cord was short which made it more difficult to be able to get behind the range to get the back panels (yes panels - 3 of them) OFF! The simple part was connectingg the two wires. Now to get the panels back (only 20 screws) and the heavy range back in place. Finally after on my back for a half hour, the new element was back in. The test, circuit breakers back on - no sparks! The broiler switch was placed on, no sparks - the entire element glowed red hot ! Another test of my ability and the good video -SUCCESSFUL! Mom is happy! Read More...
