How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4512897 / 00616990 Tine Row Holder

Bought 2 new sets of tines, called "inserts" and replaced the old with new ones. It took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. I removed the entire middle rack so I could work from the bottom of it. I removed the snaps, removed the insert, replaced the snaps. super easy. 

Parts were easy to find and order on line. They arrived promptly. They would be easy to install if you knew how. Luckily, the great video on your website show how to do it, so it was easy. Thanks.

The video helped so much with how to place the clips to replace an old, broken tine row in the dishwasher. Once I had the placement from the video, the fix was quick and easy. 

Ordered tine row and holders. Followed video from Appliance Parts Pros. 

Two-part fix. 1) Ordered new lower and upper dishracks removable/adjustable tines from AppliancePartsPros.com along with new plastic clips. Fairly easy to remove the old and snap in the new tines/parts. 2) Unfortunately, the upper dishrack assembly has been out-of-stock (everywhere), so after removing the failed coating and cleaning, I used Re-Rack to "paint" on new coating. Not quite as pretty as I could only find white coat to put on the original grey - but it works. 

Replaced the tine holders.. 

Removed tine row attachment clips with a flathead screwdriver, removed broken row and replaced with ordered part. I also ordered the new clips in case they broke during removal. They didn’t break, so I now have spares! 

It was easy to find the correct replacement parts on the website. The parts arrived quickly and replacing the holders was a simple process. 

We were frustrated that we could never load plates into our dishwasher for the last couple of weeks. So my daughter and I pulled up some YouTube videos and figured out which parts we were missing. We were able to get the parts very quickly from your company and install them and our dishwasher works great now!
