How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP7215892 / 10028963 Lock

I looked on the Appliance Parts Pros website and saw the parts that seemed to be the ones not working. I ordered the Door Lock Assembly after watching the site video on how complicated it was. (Which it wasn't) Thanks for the video by the way. I wouldn't have attempted trying to make the repair not knowing how. The site said repair time was easy and 15 minutes to do. I'm not that good so it took me about 45 minutes, most of the time making sure I had everything just so-so. Delivery was quick and the parts fit like the originals. 

Replaced door latch switch.

Repair man suggested replacing the lock. Your video was helpful but my model had front controls and a two piece front door cover. Removed both sections and followed the video instructions. Also replaced the mid level spray arm - was a snap! 

I ordered a replacement door latch for my Bosch dishwasher from Appliance Parts Pros early afternoon on 16 March. About ONE hour later, I was informed that the item had been shipped and would be delivered the NEXT day!!! I was very skeptical, to say the least. About noon, the next day, I received the package (LESS than 24 Hours from ordering) and started to install the latch. About ONE hour later, I had it installed and started to do a load of dishes! Ordered a replacement Bosch dishwasher door latch/lock assembly from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed it following their instruction video which was excellent. Dishwasher started and ran well after that. 

We saw the video from ApplianceParsPros.com on YouTube. After watching it we found the part on their website and purchased it. It was shipped very quickly and we were able to complete the repair just like in the video. No issues, door is now closing properly again. Very satisfied. 

I called a guy to repair the dishwasher, he took more than a month and said that he couldn't find the part. I found the part on appliance parts pros easily and they shipped it quickly. The video on the website helped me the most. I replaced the part quickly. I recommend this site for all appliance needs. 

The video was great!! My machine was slightly different. After taking cover off front I couldn't get to the sensor, there was no room.. I had to take the control panel off ,to gain access. With out the video I would have been lost. 

Ordered the part and installed it myself.
