How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3959388 / 316455430 Clock Timer

At first I thought it was a bad ignitor, but I could hear it "click" so I figured something else was causing the problem. I knew it was all controlled by the main PCB (clock/timer module), so I checked for voltage at the output connector (on back of clock/timer.. 5 pin connector). There was zero volts, so I knew the clock/timer module was bad. I googled "Kenmore oven replacement parts" and AppliancePartsPros popped up, and was cleared as secure by Norton, so I logged on, entered my oven model number, and found the clock/timer with a simple search. I called and a very helpful,nice, friendly lady confirmed the part number, placed my order and I got the correct part in 2 days as promised. It was really simple to install, and everything works fine now. 

Just as instructed in the video by AppliancePartsPros.com. It was very simple and took very little time to do.1st pull stove out away from wall. 2nd unplug stove from electrical outlet. 3rd unscrew panel from the back of the stove. 4th remove screws from clock timer panel. 5th place overlay PROPERLY on the new clock/timer board. 6th replace new board and do steps 1 thru 4. 

Just changed it out.

After ruling out the igniter and the temp sensor the only other part was the control board. 

I thought it was the oven burner igniter causing the problem, but called a repairman to be sure. He said the igniter was good; it was the control board that needed to be replaced. Ordered a new control board and overlay (it comes in two parts) and a new oven sensor as the repairman suggested. Parts came when they said they would and I was able to install them myself.
