How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4587739 / 316557118 Oven Control Board

Replace circuit board 

I checked both elements for continuity and they both had low resistance meaning they were good. I then did a visual inspection of the oven control circuit board and found that resistor R41 had burned completely off the board. After receiving a new board, I took a picture of the wiring connected to board and removed it. I did not buy a new control overlay as mine was still in good shape. I removed it from the old control panel and put it on the new one. Changing out was a piece of cake, I replace the 5 color coded wires after referring to my picture and then the muli-wire plug. I checked all the functions of the stove to conclude that every thing was working 

Removed back panel, pulled off wires, replaced with new control panel and overlay(pre-glued and stuck on), plugged wires back in same order, screwed in new control panel and replaced back panel. 

It took only 10 minutes to replace the the new part you shipped and the oven works fine. Thank you. 

The service rep helped me decide the part I needed. The how to video made installing the part easy. I got the part quickly and it was about twenty dollars cheaper than from Sears. Very happy. 

Took picture with iPad to make sure I put colored wires in correct order after removal removed four screws and unplugged about five wires Installed new board connected wires Done 

Frist off the repair man was not even authorized to even come out, and he was mad when I told him that I wasn't paying for something that I didn't authorize because the office messed up, especially after he told me $348.00 for the part and $150.00 labor-annit wrong answer!!! So I found you guys (Appliance parts pros) on line and with your alls help and less then $100.00 bucks, WIFE is happy and now she can fix my meatloaf she promised me!!! Change the oven control board. 

Ordered part which was shipped on Monday. Received it early afternoon on Tuesday. Installation was simple and quick. Oven working properly now. Great service. 

I contacted customer service cause I didn't find the right part myself, they told me which parts I would need, orederd, received in 2 days as promised and the actual repair took less time than writing this review! 10 screws and 2 plugs later, a whopping 5 min later, stove is like new again, baked up a storm of Christmas cookies as I type!!
