Todd F Avon , MA July 26, 2019 Appliance: Frigidaire Range FEF355ESC Oven gave E30 error code and would shut off Tested sensor, the sensor was good, accurate, and no shorts to ground. Fyi these are usually pt100 or pt1000 RTDs. You can look up the resistance table and check the oven temp (after unplugging the sensor from the board). Relays worked because the oven would heat to the right temp, but shut off after some minutes. Weird issues and there isn't much else that could go wrong, so I ordered the board, followed the instructional video (unscrew top back panel, unplug board, unscrew board, then in reverse with the new board) and it worked great. All functions seemed to work so I ran it for 15 minutes with no more issues. I had to swap the plastic overlay too. I ripped it off gently as not to tear it. The adhesive worked good enough to get it held in place on the new board and the screws holding the board to keep things all well and good. Read More... Christiane T Bristol , PA January 11, 2019 F10 error code. I ordered the control board and installed it in less than 15 minutes. Getting the original board unclipped was probably the hardest part, in that the clips were stiff, but once I got them detached, it was easy to get out the old panel and put the new one in. Test preheat went successfully, no code! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Nicole D Leominster , MA November 30, 2018 F10 error. Oven over heating. I actually googled fixes for it. It’s stated it could be a sensor. I ordered the sensor, replaced it and it wasn’t it. So I paid a technician to come out here to tell me it was the oven control unit who then proceeded to tell me it was gonna cost $526 to fix. so I came to this website ordered/checked out the parts and it had a video a 10 minute repair in $122 later my oven works just fine.
