We pulled the back off the appliance got out our multi meter. We checked the thermocouple and the two heating elements and all seemed to be in good order. There was no visible issues with wires or the power coming in. The only thing left was the controller board.
We ordered a replacement controller board and a new face sticker (which is required for the front buttons to work). My husband unplug the old one and plugged in the new one, with the new face sticker which matches our black stove. This took around 45 minutes because he was working very carefully. It started working right away. The stove top continues to work. The oven has baked 2 things without an issue.
Total cost under $. So we saved around 800$ additional to buy a new one and we kept this out of the landfill for several more years. Thanks!
