Description

This genuine OEM part is an oven control board for ovens. The control board is the main computer that controls the essential functions of the oven. If the oven is no longer turning on or heating efficiently, it might be time to replace the control board. Luckily this is a relatively simple process. To replace the control board, make sure that the oven is unplugged. After the power has been shut off pull the range away from the wall to gain access to the back of the appliance. Remove the upper back panel with a screwdriver to gain access to the control board. Pop the control board out of its mounting brackets and remove the wire harness along with the individual wires attached to the old board. Make sure to take note of the orientation of the wires. Re-insert the wire harness and individual wires into their correct terminals on the new board. Snap the new board back in place and reinstall the upper back panel.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.
