How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4323287 / EAFCBF Electrolux Pureadvantage Eafcbf Refrigerator Air Filter

I removed the old ice maker and installed a new one, along with changing the air and water filters. 

Looked up the model number on the internet, found a diagram on AppliancePartsPros.com which led to part number for the user interface, also found "how-to video" on-site that included how to remove user interface panel. When the part came it was an easy fix, remove defective user interface panel - remove 2 screws mounting lip, then remove 2 screws mounting panel, unplug 4 connectors in back, plug connectors into the new panel, mount new panel, and re-mount lip. Less than 10 minutes, the panel now works perfectly. 

Replaced both The electrical board I found under the fridge was very easy to replace. The fan motor took a minute to bed puns and the biggest challenge was taking off/on the back panel to get to it. (By the way it was located in the freezer section. take drawers out to get to it. 

I ordered a brand new shelf. I used 'live chat' to make sure I was ordering the right one and within two days, the shelf arrived and it fit perfectly. What I though was going to be a big problem to fix was very easy! Thank you! 

Purchased a new Control Board, as well as a new Thermister. Thermister was not absolutely necessary and could have been tested but it was simple enough to just replace during the control board replacement. Since it was a good time to replace the carbon air filter, I included that in the order too. Ordering the parts was very easy and completing the order the same. Parts arrived within a couple of days, which is good to know if you are depending on an appliance working. Impressed that Appliance Parts Pro provides technical assistance during and after the sale. Parts not used can also be returned. I don't know of any other on-line stores that do that. Yes! I would buy my appliance parts again from APP. Note: Secret to removing the plug and play control board is to peel back the front cover just enough on the front of the panel. This frees the control board to slip out, after dislocating the tabs. Once the new control board is back in place, you can "re-stick" the front cover back over it. Suggest not completely removing the front cover, only enough to separate it from the control board you are removing. That way, the alignment does not change. Hope that helps you. Replaced filter with bypass 

Refrig/Freezer combo uses 4 lights 2 up and 2 mid .... started by replacing one at a time and the entire series began working. 

Ordered two filters so I'd have an extra one on hand. 

Opened refrigerator door, ate a piece of chicken, replaced filters, closed refrigerator door. Watched tv. 

First time we received an item purchased over the Internet the next day. The filter was installed and is working well. Thanks
