How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6333425 / 242270107 Refrigerator Dispenser Module Assembly

Replaced actuator module. 

Replaced ice maker/water dispenser module by removing 6 screws. Very easy repair. 

Ran the self diagnostics and identified the paddle switch motor as the issue. Had to buy the Complete assembly and replaced it in about 15 minutes. Calling a repair tech would cost $335.00 basic cost plus the part. Thanks to Appliance Pros I saved a ton of money. 

Followed the U-tube video after receiving the replacement parts from AppliancePartsPros (all parts were the correct ones and came as identified on their website). 

Removed dispenser and found paddle broken at spring.plastic part! Ordered replacement. Easy remove and replace job after viewing a video. 

Replaced the dispenser. There was a couple moments that made me think I bought the wrong one, but I pressed on & it worked out. The new module has an improvement where you don't use 1 connection. & initially the display was off, just had to press the correct buttons & lit up.

Removed old , installed new 

Replaced with new dispenser. Part number was different but your site it was compatible. The new part didn’t have jumper to light on control panel . The light was on dispenser. I couldn’t find any other differences. Hooked it up and it worked. Light on dispenser works just as well as control panel light. 

Replaced power source (dispenser module) and Interface Control board.
