How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4356466 / 316442300 Range Surface Element

We rent our home. A "new" stove was installed when we moved in 3 years ago. When the landlord (whom we really do like) had his "appliance guy" deliver it, I asked about the wobbly burners. All four burners. They didn't sit level and wobbled. He (whom we do not like) rudely told me, "You'll get used to 'em." Told me these were the original burners and drip pans. 3 years and lots of whining later, I finally ordered replacement burners and pans from Appliance Pros. What a difference the correct parts make!!! No more sliding frying pans. No more uneven cooking. No more cussing husband. 

Remove and replace. 

Replaced the burners 

I changed the element and now it’s working. 

REPLACED THE PARTS PURCHASED, 

We ordered a new one and it worked very well. 

New, shiny Drip Pans to replace scratched nasty looking ones and also new Surface Elements. 

Easy to replace the oven element and the top surface elements on the old Tappan electric range. 

Replaced both burners. There are two choices. Couldn’t determine the difference between the two. Went with the cheaper part. Works great. The element “circle bits” are thinner than the original and this might have been the difference between the two. Works great, however! Shipping was super fast even during the holiday season. Many thanks. 

We changed the terminal with the recommended part and then the element would not fit; it would not go in far enough. I realized the terminal connection we replaced was more like part #330031. We ordered 2 elements and that terminal connection. We have not made the change yet. Our model # did not include the A B C D that AppliancePartsPros.com had listed. FFEF3015PBB
