After part arrived, Unplugged unit from power outlet and removed 3- 1/4" head screws from back of panel, lifted off control cover. Took picture of existing connection, Remove and swap over the jumper connector from one side of circuit board. Carefully disconnected wire connections (some have squeeze clips). Remove all knobs from switches at front of panel. Remove 4- 5/16" head screws which were retaining board on to panel. Lift off old panel. Reverse process to reassemble.
Pretty straight forward to replace.
Once complete, made sure all switches were in off position, plugged back into wall outlet.
Washed 6 loads of laundry with no issues.
This is a genuine GE part, which came in a GE sealed box.
