How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2042533 / WE3X77 Dryer Drum Front Support Bearing

Replaced parts 

Replaced the front support bearing and bearing glide. 

After tearing into the dryer and cleaning out all the lint I ultimately determined the dryer motor needed to be replaced along with some other items. Why not replace some old, worn out parts while I had the dryer tore apart. Now it's running like a new dryer at half the price to repair compared to buying a new one. 

First searched the symptoms section before disassembling to confirm. After confirmation, I looked up appropriate parts and watched the repair videos. (Awesome) Ordered parts which arrived promptly and had the unit up and running Quietly in short order 

Replaced front support bearing, bearing glides and felt seal. 

Replaced parts. 

After taking the top apart, I found the drum bearing was completely worn through. Found your website, great parts list, and clear schematics for my appliance. Also, the video was very helpful. Ordered the parts I needed to repair the front support bearing, bushings (3), door seal, drive belt, idler pully, and felt seal. 

As easy as 123, followed the video instruction, removed couple of screws and replaced the broken part and that was it. Dryer is working fine now. Thanks
