I would never have attempted to do it myself if it weren't for your repair video. I watched it a couple of times then decided to go for it. So I ordered the part on Friday and received it on Sunday. Wow! I couldn't believe that it was here already. I watched the video another time and went to work on it. All went well and I'm extremely pleased. Also, it gave me great satisfaction to have done the job myself, and it saved me the cost of hiring a repairman. 

I ordered a replacement lint trap and it fit like a glove. 

Ordered the lint filter from AppliancePartsPros.com. Additionally, the individual that I dealt with was very knowledgeable. Because of the age of the dryer, it was impossible to get any serial numbers for me to refer to, to aid the representative in helping me. Lastly, the representative suggested that I look at the lint filter and see if there were any relevant numbers that we could use. That turned out to be the answer. I was able to order the lint filter I needed. I have it and it's working. I couldn't be happier. A great job done by the representative! 

I was told not to bother fixing the dryer as it was old and I'd gotten it for free. I got online, found this website, ordered the parts. Problem solved in 5 minutes.

When it came it was very well packaged and it fit my dryer perfectly. 

I haven't replace it as of yet. She lives 6hr away and I will be visiting this weekend (3/29 - 4/1). Hopefully, I will be replacing the old one with the new one with hope of it being the right size.
