I ordered the support. Once we removed the old one, we noticed that the top support was also cracked and so we decided to replace that one as well before it broke off completely. Using a putty knife, I removed the black liner around the inside of the door that exposed the microwave inside the glass. I used a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws that held the inside glass to the outer door. This exposed the 2 screws that held the handle onto the door. I removed the screws, replaced the supports with the new ones, and re-screwed the handle onto the outer door. I replaced the inner door and secured it with 4 screws. The final step was to snap the black liner back around the glass door.
Watching the video helped tremendously and was pretty much what we had to do. I did have a little challenge getting the door back into the hinges.
