How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2016754 / WB06X10144 Turntable Coupler

I found out that the turntable coupler had broken when it slides over the turntable motor shaft. Simple matter of ordering a new part from your group. 

After receiving the replacement part installing it was easy. Smply line up the keyed shaft of the turntable motor (by feel because you can't see it) then snap the coupler down into place. 

Ordered the parts, watched the youtube videos, figured my husband and I could do it ourselves. We did and saved $150.00 to boot. Thanks you, our sales person who helped get the right parts on the phone was great and attentive, and didn't seem like I was wasting her time or of a bother. Now it works GREAT!!! 

Replaced motor and coupler. Motor was delayed because the courior lost it in shipping. Repair made somewhat more difficult because the kitchen cabinets did not allow dropping the bottom of the microwave more than 4 inches in order to access the motor. AppliancePartsPros.com was excellent though. 

The website stated 93% of the time the coupler was cracked the other 7% was the fault of the motor. Just to be safe, I ordered both parts. Coupler had no problem. We switched out the motor (which we had to remove to look at the coupler) and everything was good as new!
