David J Belleview , WA January 18, 2016 Turntable would not spin in a ge micro wave Removed the bottom plate, removed the broken motor and replaced it with the new motor. The issue was that the removing the bottom plate was not as easy as the video showed it to be. The plate was under a lip on the right and left side panels, attached to the bottom door hinge and had a lip under the control panel on the front. After taking our over 12 screws on the bottom and the screws on side panels (which had to be pulled back because the side panels are part of one big piece that covers the exterior of the unit except for the front of the micro wave) the bottom was removed and the motor was changed. That was the easy part. Putting it back was much easier than taking it apart.
