How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2042824 / WE4X782 Dryer Rotary Start Switch

Soooo easily! I plugged the electrical connectors into the new switch, attached the start knob and turned it on. 

Ordered parts and received them next day. Install was easy and switch worked as expected. Dryer is running normally. 

Replaced with new switch. 

Being an older part, the shaft that held the knob was a single plastic piece, so we had to replace the entire switch. AppliancePartsPros.com made it very easy and economical. It took longer to put it back together than to repair.
