Betsy, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not list an approved alternative so we would not be able to guarantee that one would work properly. However, it is possible that the black finish knob WE1X1206 or white finish knob WH1X2721 might work.

Betsy, the rotary start switch WE4X782 would be used with the model provided. The knob WH1X2274 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. However, it would not need to be replaced unless it is damaged.

Musbau, You will want to check to see if the door switch is good. If it is good then check to make sure that the switch is wired properly and then test the centrifugal switch on the motor for continuity.

Bubba, The model number you supplied is incorrect or incomplete. Sears/ Kenmore laundry products usually consist of 11 numbers and a period after the first three numbers (ie 110.86863800). Were going to need the complete model number or the manufacturers part number off the original timer to assist you properly. Thanks,
