Irene S Riverside , CT January 17, 2021 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer DBXR463EG2WW Plastic dryer drum support was disintegrating causing squeaking of drum when operating. Replaced front dryer drum support and lint trap duct as both were disintegrating with multiple cracks. While not as easy for me as in the videos, as placement required a little more jostling of the parts to place and fit snugly, the videos were amazingly helpful and I would never have accomplished the repair without them. I used a Phillips head and a screwdriver. Great experience dealing with customer service as well, as 2 extra wires were sent with the lint trap assembly which my older model did not require. Chandler in customer service took the time to research my order and model number to determine that the wires were included automatically but were not necessary for my repair. My husband normally repairs things around the house, but his being away for some time necessitated my involvement and I feel empowered! On to the next project. Read More... Michael M Greensboro , NC March 21, 2016 Start switch broken The problem was that the housing on the main panel for the start switch had broken and the switch was no longer stable. So for quite sometime now I have been rigging it in place however I could so we could start the drier. I finally got tired of that and started looking up the parts.
