Billy G Sellersburg , IN March 07, 2018 Appliance: Model KENMORE 363.9537853 Leaking into bin not stopping ice production no ice cubes leaked into floor and flooded kitchen twice Replaced Water inlet valve to stop leak into floor. it wasn't stopping water to Ice Maker.Replaced Solenoid to allow cubed ice output. Hadn't worked in months. We always got crushed ice no matter which button you pressed. Replaced whole Ice Maker to stop leakage into the ice bin. It was dribbling into the bin and freezing into big globs in the left rear corner of the bin and continuing until the auger was frozen up. James H Bradenton , FL June 28, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator TFX25JPCCWW Frost buildup in the ice cube discharge chute Ordered new door flap, had it less than 24hrs. The delivery service is awesome! The repair video was a little different than our model of GE refrig/freezer. It was easier to get to the unit to repair, remove cover plate then 4 screws and 1 large electrical plug on left side of unit. This model only had 1 screw and plate to remove and it is on the left side by the solenoid. Everything else was the same, snap out the old rubber flapper and snap in the new one. Here we had a little problem with fit the new unit did not fit as tight as the original to the plastic and it would hang up and not shut all the way. Problem was solved by adding a piece of duct tape to the new part and running it across the brace that the new part snaps into. Read More...
