How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5948588 / WR12X22183 Smooth Handle Kit

Very simple.Removed screws and attacked door handle and rescrewed handle back on. 

I unscrewed the old handles and screwed on the new ones. The new handles fit perfectly and look exactly like the old ones. 

With the excellent help from your staff, was able to to order my parts and install them the next day. Rooms were only down for 2 days!!!!! Will use your computer for all of our appliance needs. 

I ordered a new handle kit from AppliancePartsPros.com and two days later the part was here. Unreal in this day and age. Changed out the handle the same day. Took maybe 5 minutes. 

Found the exact part on AppliancePartsPros.com. The search was super easy, and pricing was very reasonable. The parts arrived much quicker than anticipated, and the swap was flawless. Saved the link to your site on my favorites for future reference! Very happy with the end result! 

Removed old handle pieces and replaced with new. Removed wrinkles from new gasket then removed old and replaced no tools needed. 

Ordered replacement handle, received it as scheduled. Removed the broken one and replaced it with the new one. The entire fix took 5 minutes. 

The one thing the part needs to come with is the screws to mount the handle. 

Bolt on and snap on parts. Lower rinse bar on dishwasher easily snapped in place. New refrigerator door handle screwed on, top and bottom. 

Ordered the part, removed three screws and replaced handle with the same screws. New Handle did not come with the lower screw cover and since the old one was hard to remove and was scratched, I now have a brand new handle with a scratched screw cover. The new handle should come complete with the screw cover!
