How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4363783 / WB24T10153 Surface Burner Switch

REpalced Infinite control switch 

Replaced the switch. It was simple and worked. Thanks for the help! 

Swapped the switch out from AppliancePart.com. 

I got the part in the mail and fixed it. I just got it fixed today but it’s fast part in two days and it worked great. I watched the video done really good if I have any more problems I will order from this company. 

The new switch 

I replaced the switch with the part I ordered from appliance parts pros. 

First I thought it was the switch, ordered a new one. Watch the video and fifteen minutes later, the new one was installed. Unfortunately, my problem still existed. Ordered the heating element, it arrived the next day. Watched another Appliance Parts Pros video. Easily installed the new heating element. Plugged it back in, turned it on and it worked perfectly. The only tricky part was aligning the stovetop back on, but everything worked out in the end. 

Switched the breaker off. Pulled the stove out, opened up the back panel, pulled one wire at a time, and plugged to the new burner switch, Installed the switch, and put the panel back, I tested it and it works fine. 

Replaced the surface burner switch. We watched a video (just google replace the part #) that showed how simple it was to replace. My husband changed it out in less than 30 minutes. We did need a socket for the hex top screws. Luckily we had one for a regular screwdriver.
