Broke my dryer switch and knob.

I took off the back, made sure I ordered the correct part, left the old one hooked up so I would be able to make sure I put the wires on in the correct spot. Received the new part,, replaced the switch put back together and then inserted knob and it is working better than ever.

The knob broke off. Not only the knob but the shaft too.

I removed the cover plate and found the old knob to confirm the correct part. Ordered the part from y'all. When it arrived I made notes of how the old part was connected (took some pix).and removed the broken part, Be sure the appliance is unplugged. Mine reminded me with an electrical tickle. Using my pix I hooked up the new part, reassembled the face plate and..... it worked great! It took me about an hour to do the job.
