I found Appliance parts pros and decided to call them. I initially tried the Hot Point site and they had the same part for an unreal price of $43.00. I talked to the man at Appliance parts pros and he told me to try the one he had by model number. I ordered it and it came the next day. It fits and my problem was solved.
