How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4444551 / ABT35083801 Blower Motor Assembly

By taking apart the front panel the vent fan assembly, it was clear that the wax actuator was broken and didn't perform properly. Ordering the part on this site read quick and easy. Packaging of this part should be improved in the future. Insufficient protection resulted in minor damage of this part in shipment. 

Search online and found video of similar problem on same brand machine. Read the accompanying how to fix post and ordered the part. Repaired in under an hour! Part ordered from APP.com came in about 1 business day! 

Had a repair tech servicng our refrigerator and I mention waster beneath the dishwasher as well as a slight odor. He told me what the problem was, I ordered it, installed it and it worked The best of repair job. The part was delivered very quickly by the way.

Removed door panel, identified broken part, ordered the part, repalaced the part 

Replace it with blower vent part 

Replace blower motor assembly. 

Ordered new fan assembly and replaced. Had to trim new fan shroud. Stiffeners where bigger on new so cut outs ontop piece of door would not fit up tight. After trimming fit back tight. 

Ordered new dryer vent motor.
