How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5592116 / 3108ER1001E Casing,Pump

Replaced the drain pump and circulating pump units. 

Followed the video instructions...replaced both the drain pump and housing. Instructions were quite good and also comments from other reviewers helped in diagnosing issues. Will always go thru this company for my parts because they were a reliable source of information in both diagnosing and repairing my washer. Parts came in a very timely manner as well. Thank you!! 

Replace drain pump. 

I replaced the drain pump. Under visual inspection after removal, I could see that the impeller on the drain pump was cracked and the impeller shaft was loose. The video for the process was helpful, and the work went fairly smoothly, taking an afternoon to complete. A suggestion that helped also was to take a couple of photos of the installed pump assembly prior to disconnecting any lines or removing it. 

Replaced the drain pump, recirculation pump, and pump manifold. 

I thought the drain motor and pump housing were cracked, but it turned out to be the pump housing drain hose had a pin hole in it. I replaced the drain motor anyway because I had everything apart and it seemed very old.
