How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5683236 / MEF62462103 Hinge

LG WT1510CW washer. Removed 4 screws, 2 in front and 2 in back. Lifted top of washer. Removed 3 screws on damper that controls lid closure and removed damper. Removed 2 screws holding hinge in place from underside. Replaced hinge and used reverse procedure to reattach. Took about 30 min. Not difficult. 

Ordered parts that were shipped in a few days and fixed hinges. 

Took top off and replaced both hinges. Requires removal of 6 screws holding top to body of washer. 

I purchased a replacement hinge. It was relatively easy to replace. I watched a number of videos on how to disassembly the top and access the screws holding the hinge. While none were the exact same model, it was fairly straightforward to disassemble and swap the new hinge. 

Replaced the hinge. Works great now. 

Checked for LG replacement parts online and water inlet valve was out of stock at all of them. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best prices by far, so we ordered. We expected a long wait on the out-of-stock item, but it arrived one week later! My husband replaced both parts in minutes! Easy!! The hardest part was pulling the washer out to reach the back and pushing it back into place. We're very pleased. 

Replaced the Pulsator and Cap. 

Did it myself and all good. 

Took the top off and replaced the hinge and put the top back on.
