How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP6307235 / AEQ73110212 Ice Maker Assembly Kit

Replaced the ice maker with the perfect match I bought from you guys. I saved myself a service charge and it was easy to change. 

Ordered the part. Replaced it. It works. 

Replaced the ice maker. 

Since the ice tray itself is not sold separately, I purchased a replacement ice maker unit. Appliance Parts Pros did not have a video associated with the repair on their website, but I was able to find it elsewhere. It was a simple remove and replace. The new unit worked perfectly. 

Called Appliance Parts Pros, who after an intensive search, determined they did have the part. LG made 2 different ice makers for the same fridge- ridiculous, but they did. The part arrived very quickly & after another call to the Pro’s, was successfully installed easily with excellent results. We SAVED not only the $89.00 service call, but the repair company was going to charge almost double for the part. The three people I spoke with there, were all so helpful, pleasant, patient & VERY knowledgeable. Would recommend them to anyone with an appliance problem. 

Replaced defective part. 

Ordered a new ice maker replacement. When it came its connection was the wrong one. We called and found out there were two so we needed to send ours back and get the other one. This process went very well. We were credited for the first one and charged for second one. We received the part quickly. 

Replaced with new one 

Bought ice maker from AP. Great service - excellent delivery - fast. Returns - no problem. Always keep box and packing material a while. LG messed up on their catalog part number. No problem - simple installation, but takes time do to awkward position of icemaker.
