How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5255786 / EBR62545101 Main Pcb Power Control Board Assembly

Verified led was not ligniting on CCU. Replaced CCU.

Many posts, videos pointed to either the PCU or the Noise reducer. It was the noise reducer. Videos were clear on the ease of replacement. Your pricing was good and delivery was timely. Thank you. 

Plugging it on and off didn't do the trick as it seemed to have helped other people. After getting feedback from the pros on the thread for my specific model, they suggested I perform the tests in the repair manual which they uploaded for me to use. That led to two possible parts: the display assembly and/or the main assembly. Since the display assembly is cheaper and easier to replace, I tried that one first. Upon replacing it the problem persisted, so I reinstalled the old one and moved on to replacing the main assembly. Between the repair manual and youtube, I figured out how to remove it and replace it and after that it all seemed to work. I ran the load tests and the washer performed them all as expected. I used one Phillips screwdriver and needle pliers. It took me a while to do it because I was so unfamiliar and was taking my time being extra careful. It is important to note that I am a 51 yr. old female with little mechanical experience although I am an avid DIYer. I was resigned to having to buy a new washer so felt I had little to lose since you take parts back if they don't solve the problem. I am glad I did! I have shared my story on FB and have already referred some friends your way. Thank you for being here and having such an awesome system going! 

Installed a new power control board. 

Purchased main circuit board and replaced the old one after some investigation. Washer is back up and running great. 

Order a new PCD (mainboard).. The fix only took about 10 minutes, and it's very doable for someone without tech knowledge. Just find some video's on Youtube and you'll be fine. Very happy with APP, the part arrived in only a couple of days and is a perfect match for the original. 

Eliminated the obvious, is there power to the machine etc and then came to the conclusion that the main board had to be bad.I then called appliance parts pros to order the board.The process was painless and the best price anywhere on the Web for the board. To top it all off I received the part the next day. Thanks again. 

Just needed to change to main board out. Super service from appliance parts, will definitely use them again.
