How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP6231149 / 4581DD3003C Lower Dishrack Roller

Very easy repair. Snapped off old roller assembly and snapped the new one on. I replaced the axle and roller assembly because it was easier than taking the wheel off the axle. 

I FIXED with my brain and hand. 

0E error code on the LG web site pointed to a problem with the draining system. Took the dishwasher outside and tried to flush and snake the drain line. A small rubber disk came out of the dishwasher. Using the drawings and parts list on the AppliancePartsPros web site, I was able to find that the part was part of the drain check valve. The video on the repair was very close to the actual repair. Ordered the check valve and a dishrack roller I was missing, and it's now fixed. AppliancePartsPros has been super useful in my appliance repairs and the prices are the lowest I could find. 

Replaced it 

I replaced the circulation motor. This was a very easy repair and the video from appliance parts pros was very helpful- I would not have done it correctly without that help. The hardest part was removing the dishwasher because my counter top is too low. But once it was out the job Took 15 minutes. DW is as quiet as new now! I also discovered that the inlet valve was Leaking so time to order that and get it installed! 

Ordered replacement wheel. It went right on and now rack functions perfectly again. 

Ordered 4 wheels. 

Lg lds4821ST dishwasher stopped working and had a burnt electronics/ fireworks smell. Main board looked good. Voltage only measured 70 volts at board instead of 120. Pulled out the dishwasher and saw that the electrical filter was badly burnt. I was surprised how bad it melted around the fuse. Ordered one here it arrived in 2 days and dishwasher was up in running again. 

Ordered and easily installed new wheel. 

Replaced wheel. Fit perfect and rolled just like new.
