Sonja C Parachute , CO September 17, 2021 EL My front loader LG washing machine wasn’t working correctly. The clothes were either coming out unwashed or completely dripping. When turning the washer on it would start up like normal and the turn off a few minutes in. Initially it was not displaying an error code, this made it very difficult to diagnose. One of the kids started a load not knowing we are having issues and it started making a clunking cringing noise, when I went to investigate the EL code was up. A few YouTube videos later and I was pretty confident it was either the wiring harness or the rotor position sensor switch. Lucky it was the RPS because I ordered the wrong wiring harness. It was very easy to remove the back panel of the washer pull the stator off the back of the tub to get to the sensor. Read More... Arthur G Palm Coast , FL August 09, 2021 Appliance: LG Washer WM8000HVA LG washer wm8000hva didn't spin. Replaced rotor position sensor and rotor assembly. Let's put it this way: It took longer to get the dryer onto a dolly and out of the way; the washer onto a dolly and into the garage; my tools out and reverse this procedure. It took less than 6 minutes to swap out the parts with air and electric tools. The final tightening was done with torque wrenches. Plugged it in and: "Wah-la" DONE! Thanks to this website that offered me the videos on how to repair it and the extremely fast delivery (ordered Monday-received Thursday) I was able to do the repairs that quickly. It appears that LG makes the most sensible and easiest machines to work on! Thank-you. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Connor M Denver , CO July 28, 2021 Appliance: Model LG WM2032HW Persistent le error code on LG washer. Persistent LE code despite swapping the Hall sensor. Wiring harness checked out ok from sensor and motor to the motherboard.with low resistance values and no changes with moving the wiring bundles, so I assumed no internal wiring breaks.
