Machine(lg wm2277hw) tub spider, tub bearings and tub bearing seal were toast! I followed the repair video on this site, its the best one available for these machines! hardest part as many others have stated, was knocking bearings out. I soaked bearings overnight with PBblaster, then the next morning used a 4lb mini sledge hammer and a solid pipe(as a punch) to push rear bearing out.
I then used a 32mm deep socket to push front(tub side) out. be sure to press new bearings in evenly!!!! (I used a huge dead blow rubber mallet) and cement blocks with 2x4 wood to support bearing area ,to get a more solid blow! Then new bearing seal, tub seal o-ring, spider(clean or tap tub holes, blue thread-locker) shocks and springs, machine runs like brand new!!!! P.S.after stainless tub is installed through seal and 2 bearings, use duct tape on shaft(near motor area) to prevent shaft movement until motor is reinstalled.
