How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5204365 / 6501EA1001R Water Level Pressure Switch

I bought the part and installed it. It took me a little longer than 15 min because I'm 74 I work a little slower. But I'd say about 25 minutes. 

We ordered the Water Level Pressure Switch Friday and got it on Saturday. These guys are amazing! Their inventory is huge, and their customer service is exceptional. 

I ordered both the Inlet valve and the pressure switch, although replacing the water level switch did not make sense to me since unplugging the washer did not stop the machine from filling with water - I had to shut off the water supply to the washer. Replaced the Inlet Valve Assembly. The problem is gone. Just 1 note to all: the electrical tabs on the coils of the replacement inlet valve bank seem to be slightly smaller and/or thinner than the original. I hope I do not have an electrical connection problem due to vibration in the future. 

I ordered the parts and fixed the machine with the online video. 

Replaced pressure switch and fill valve assembly. 

Installed water level pressure switch. 

I replaced the water level pressure switch. I also did other things like clean stuff around washer and dryer. 

Easy as the video showed!! 

New valve assembly and a new water-level pressure switch. 

After turning off LG washer and water supply, I consulted internet and diagnosed origin of problem as either the Water Level Pressure Switch or the Inlet Valve Assembly. After watching excellent videos on repair of each problem provided by AppliancePartsPros.com, I decided to replace both possible defective parts rather than take a chance of making wrong choice. I ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com, they arrived the next afternoon, and I replaced the parts as instructed by video the following day. The LG washer now works perfectly with the water level well controlled.
